Michaela Leova

Born and raised in Slovakia, Michaela has lived and worked across Australia, UK and Dubai for the past 10 years. She first moved to Sydney back in 2014, to complete her MBA and has since worked in retail, recruitment, sales and business development.

Michaela spent three years working in Dubai, where she gained invaluable experience partnering with luxury retail brands globally. She joins Miller Leith, specialising in the Luxury Retail Recruitment and supporting our clients across luxury fashion, fine jewellery, timepieces and beauty with recruitment across Australia and New Zealand.

When not at work, you can find her at a beach, gym, travelling or exploring new places, spending time outdoors, shopping or trying new cafes, bars and restaurants!

What’s important to you?
My partner, family, friends, being happy and keeping my life balanced.

What is something quirky about you?
I have a very selective long-term memory going as far as clearly remembering some situations from when I was 2-3 years old (no jokes). I can also often remember outfits of people they wore in different situations
years ago (hence the retail recruitment!) but at the same time, I can’t remember the directions to a place I walked to or drove to million times and still have to use google maps.

What motivates you about the Recruitment Industry?
Working with motivated and talented people and connecting them with the right opportunities. It is rewarding to see people being genuinely happy and grateful when they get a dream job.
