Josh Devlin

Born and raised in New Zealand, Josh graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Victoria University of Wellington and began his career in business development within the Engineering sector. His passion for sales and building relationships then naturally led him to recruitment, where he gained two years of experience working across the Sales and Marketing industry before relocating to Melbourne.

As a Principal Consultant at Miller Leith, Josh specialises in placing top talent across the Manufacturing and Technical space. His energetic approach and commitment to aligning high calibre candidates with a diverse range of clients make his role both impactful and exciting.

Outside of work, Josh is passionate about all things sports-related, staying active, and exploring Melbourne’s top food spots.

I think it’s really important to work in a career that you love. Finding fulfilment in your work not only supports your overall well-being, but also motivates you to be your best self each day.

What is something quirky about you?

I collect bottle openers from the places I’ve visited around the world. While it’s an impressive collection, there’s still a lot of territory to cover!

What motivates you about the recruitment industry?

The dynamic nature of recruitment keeps me energised. Each day offers a chance to learn something new, whether it’s from candidates, clients or colleagues, my time is spent engaging with incredibly talented people. Also, the feeling of positively impacting someone’s career journey is highly rewarding.
