Dale Hackney

Born and raised in Kent, UK, Dale moved to Sydney at the back end of 2019 and hasn’t looked back.

After finishing his studies, Dale’s early career was in Real Estate prior to switching to recruitment over 15 years ago. Having spent around 9 years working for the world’s largest privately owned recruitment company, REED, Dale’s expertise spans two core specialisms, initially focusing on procurement & supply chain before switching to recruiting sales professionals over a decade ago. Additional experience includes managing teams on a national basis. Away from REED, his experience includes two years spent at a specialist FMCG recruitment agency in London, Vertical Advantage, alongside over five years with a boutique agency, FutureYou, here in Sydney, focusing on commercial assignments across both consumer and industrial markets.

My initial remit at Miller Leith will be focusing on developing our already strong sales offering.

Outside of work, I’m a cricket tragic and keen runner soon to take on the Canberra Marathon after completing the Gold Coast Marathon in 2023 & 2024.

My partner would say my vast use of my second language, cockney rhyming slang.

Watching talent grow and develop, even better if you’ve played a small part in making that happen.
