Khalid Belhaj

Khalid graduated with a degree in Business Studies from the University of Plymouth. He started his first professional job in Brussels, Belgium, working for a Global Hotel Group in their Operations Department as a Supply Chain Analyst. Khalid then returned to the UK to work in Operational positions in the Automotive sector and a Start-Up Venture.

In 2018, Khalid moved to Australia and completed a loop of the country before settling in Melbourne. It was here that he began his recruitment career in the Accounting & Finance space, before joining Miller Leith as a part of their Manufacturing & Technical team. Outside of work, Khalid spends a lot of time at Lorne on the Great Ocean Road, where he tries to catch waves on the beach every weekend.

What’s important to you?

Having recently become a first-time father to a little girl (which I absolutely adore) and supporting my partner, this is where my focus lies.

What is something quirky about you?

I am terrified of heights but love cliff diving and have been skydiving believe it or not.

What motivates you about the Recruitment Industry?

I love engaging with people from all walks of life and hearing about their individual journeys. Having the ability to contribute to that story by connecting people to their dream job, there is no better feeling.
