Quality & Technical Recruitment

Miller Leith’s network within the quality assurance and technical markets is second to none, making it easier for your business to meet and keep up to date with quality and regulatory standards.

Quality controlled quality professionals

The technology boom has resulted in both consumers and retailers demanding a greater variety of products whilst maintaining a world-class level of quality. This in turn, has created a need for proficient candidates within this space who are willing to push boundaries. In monitoring and innovating upon the products and services of the organisations they work for, these candidates must also bring a strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills to all of the work they do.

Miller Leith's network within the quality assurance and technical markets are second to none. As trusted advisors for the industry, Miller Leith understands the critical importance of remaining abreast of current changes to the quality and regulatory standards, which is why we work with industry groups to ensure our clients have the most up to date information available. Our network also expands across the manufacturing industry.

Workers in quality assurance are responsible for ensuring that the products or services a company provides meet the customer's quality expectations. For a Quality Manager, this can involve developing and implementing quality standards, conducting quality audits, and supervising the work of Quality Control Inspectors, Officers, and Technicians. These Inspectors are themselves responsible for testing products to ensure they meet national and or international regulations, documenting quality control procedures, and investigating customer complaints.

Further, much of this work will involve laboratory work, specifically where food is involved. Food Technologists, Laboratory Chemists, and Microbiologists will conduct physical, chemical and biological experimentation in order to discover the best possible ways of ensuring high quality products. Meanwhile, Research and Development Officers and Chemists can lead such research projects, analyse the data derived from them, and create recommendations for members of higher management.

As science and technology relevant to the industry rapidly evolves, new regulations and procedures are created, and thus new quality and technical responsibilities emerge for businesses to adhere to. In light of this, having a great team of quality assurance workers is imperative in ensuring that your business' products are safe and meet the expectations of consumers.
